Overview
1.
You need
30 hours of classroom instruction, 12 hours of driving, and 6
hours of observation. After the student finishes the
classroom portion, he/she will be able to begin the on-road
instruction phase if he/she has a permit and has prepaid
all the costs of the course. If a student has to miss a
class, they can make up that class when the next sessions begin.

2.
Driver Education Cost:
|
$615.00 |
NOTE
There are no refunds if the
student does not finish the course! Prices are always
subject to change, depending on the economic climate! (Gas
prices, etc.)
3.
The classroom consists of 3 quizzes and a final exam at the end
of the course. A passing grade for the final must equal
80%. There will be movies shown to
reinforce the instruction. There will be guest speakers if
time allows.
NOTE
Students are expected to
conduct themselves in a proper manner. Failure to do so will
mean immediate dismissal from the class.
4.
Students are expected to get at least 40 hours of
behind-the-wheel practice from family members in addition to
their behind-the-wheel instruction given
by the auto school. The more they practice, they quicker
they learn the proper driving skills and become safe, confident
drivers.
NOTE
You have two years, from the
starting date, to complete the course. After that, you have to
start over again!
5.
All Georgetown and Amesbury High students will be picked up at
the high school and returned to the high school after the lesson
and observation time is
completed. (No exceptions)
6.
All parents should be prompt in picking their child up when
classes are over. If you are going to be late, please call
Joseph, Sheila, or the instructors on our cell
phones. Instructors cannot provide rides home for student
after classes have ended.
7.
A 24-hour notice of a cancellation is required if possible.
Failure to notify will mean a payment for the missed lesson.
